Support Meghan's Journey to Walk Again
My name is Meghan, and my life changed in an instant when a patient fell on me at work. At first, I thought the dizziness and nausea were unrelated, but within a week, I lost the ability to walk. The sensation in my legs disappeared, and soon after, I was numb from the waist down. Now, confined to a wheelchair, I'm in rehabilitation, fighting every day to regain some strength, some feeling, and hopefully, a piece of my old life.
I was the only one working, while my husband stayed home to care for our two beautiful children—Tiana, who just turned 2, and Sean, who is 10. We had just moved into our new home, excited for the future, when everything came crashing down. Now, my husband is searching for work, but without my income, we’re struggling to make ends meet. Every day feels like a battle, not just physically, but emotionally as we face this uncertain future.
It’s humbling to ask for help, but I need support to get through this difficult time. I want to give my family a sense of stability again, to see my children thrive, and to focus on my recovery without the crushing weight of financial stress. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading my story, and for any support you can offer.
