My name is Meghan, AKA "Meghan Marie", singer-songwriter based near Northeast San Antonio, TX. I am raising money for a professionally recorded, mixed, and mastered EP this Fall. Any support is deeply appreciated!

~~ MY STORY ~~

I have been passionate about singing and songwriting from a very young age. In middle-school, I recorded 20 of my original songs and burnt them onto a CD, calling the makeshift album "Someday" - because I always dreamt of "someday" sharing my original music with the world. Although I have been performing live for many years, I didn't start taking my original music seriously until recently.

A friend of mine recorded my first EP 'pro bono' in 2020, and I began exploring the full-studio experience with my single, "Rewind" in 2024 (after finally settling in to Texas from Ohio). While recording professionally was lifechanging, the price of professional projects left me feeling discouraged...

But I didn't give up! After the release of my single, I purchased my own recording equipment and self-produced my first full album, "Love Letters". I have so much music I want to share, and I don't want to take my entire life to do it - especially since I've been writing even more new music lately.

Self-production can do the trick for a good chunk of my songs (I am in the process of home-recording new tracks already), but there are a handful of newer tunes that I don't want to release without giving 100%. Everything seems to be falling into place - the tracks, production, timeline, and studio - but it is difficult for me to financially prioritize music. In reality, this dream is placed on the backburner when compared with bills, payments, and 'real life' expenses.
