Hey Everybody, my name is Megan. I am 20 years old and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer on 04/21/25 and went through a complete thyroidectomy on 5/15/2025. The surgeon who completed my operation stated that he was able to get good margins and he couldn’t have hoped for any better. I also met with an endocrinologist and he has put me on a thyroid substitute to take while I’m recovering, and then I have to return to the office to have my levels adjusted. But my family and I are keeping a positive outlook on things!

With all of that being said, I am launching a GoFundMe to help with all of the medical and living expenses while I am off work recovering. It would solely be going to medications, the co-insurance for surgery, doctor's office visits, and basic necessities while I am off work.
