"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." That's our motto!

My name is Megan Kelly. Too many kids and teens today don't often have the opportunity to grow things or spend time outside and connect with nature. I want them to learn about the natural world and be able to enjoy the opportunity to grow their own food and flowers. I also want to instill a sense of pride in growing things and an understanding of how their food gets to their plate.

So, I decided to start a garden! I pulled together all of my resources and realized that I'm working with what few materials I have.

I have some bricks and gardening supplies that have been bought by myself or donated by local community members. I have enough funds to cover our greenhouse materials, but I have grand plans!

Ultimately, I plan to have six vegetable beds, a 6x12 ft greenhouse, an apiary, and a composting area. The footprint has already been drawn up. The pictures attached show the outlined area to be used.

I am anxious to get started, so that I can be ready for spring planting, but I still have to pay for the greenhouse, more bricks and lumber for the vegetable beds, mulch, and much more. I'm using everything at my disposal, but still need to cover the cost of these things.
