Megan is a dedicated paraprofessional in a center-based Autism program who has truly built her career around supporting students in a special education classroom. She consistently puts others first, giving so much of herself each day to help her students grow, learn, and feel supported.

Recently, Megan was involved in a devastating accident when an intoxicated driver ran a stop sign and struck her car, causing it to roll. She suffered multiple broken ribs, a broken jaw, broken teeth, and a brain bruising. Her recovery will be long, and unfortunately, she will not be able to finish out the school year as she focuses on healing.

During this incredibly difficult time, Megan is facing significant financial challenges, including medical bills, mortgage payments, ongoing medications, and eventually the need to replace her car so she can regain her independence. The weight of these unexpected expenses is overwhelming, and she could truly use the support of her community right now.
