❤️ Help Megan Fight for Her Life

Some people come into our lives and leave a lasting impact. Megan is one of those people for me.

Years ago, when I was fighting cancer, Megan was there for me. She didn't just offer words of support, she took action and started a fundraiser to help me and my family through one of the hardest times in our lives.

Now, it's my turn to be there for her.

Megan is a 43-year-old mom of three, a nurse, and someone who has spent her life caring for others. She has always been the person willing to show up, help someone else, and put other people's needs before her own.

Megan's life has already been filled with more challenges than anyone should have to face. In 2006, her husband was diagnosed with cancer while she was pregnant with their daughter. Their family spent years facing surgeries, treatments, and hope.

Then, in 2014, her husband suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. Megan devoted herself to caring for him through his rehabilitation until he sadly passed away in 2016.

After losing her husband, Megan became both mom and dad to their three children. She continued working, caring for her family, and being there for others—putting one foot in front of the other and doing whatever she needed to do for her children.

Now, Megan is the one who needs someone to be there for her.

In February 2026, Megan was diagnosed with MASLD cirrhosis, and her liver disease has progressed incredibly quickly. Her doctors at Penn Medicine have told her that she needs a living liver donor as soon as possible.

And while Megan is fighting for her own life, her daughter is facing a fight of her own. Her daughter was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer and is preparing to undergo surgery.

A mother who has spent her entire life caring for everyone else is now fighting for her own life while trying to be there for her children.

Her illness has made it difficult for her to work and drive, and everyday expenses have become overwhelming. Donations will help with groceries, medications, transportation, medical-related expenses, and everyday living expenses while Megan focuses on her health and her family.

Megan once stepped up for me when I needed someone in my corner.

Now, I'm asking everyone I know to step up for Megan.
