Megan is the daughter of a dear friend, but to me, she feels more like family. She has always been an inspiration with her kindness and her constant willingness to put others before herself. Recently, Megan underwent a full hysterectomy due to ovarian cancer, and doctors also had to remove part of her colon. Despite these challenges, she has continued to show incredible strength and resilience. Unfortunately, her fight is not over—cancer has now been found lining many of her organs. This devastating news has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on her family. Where there were once two incomes supporting their household, there is now only one, making it even harder to manage the mounting medical bills and daily living expenses.
