Back in September, our ahMEGzing daughter Megan O'Neill received the life-changing diagnosis of Stage 3 Breast Cancer. This news came as a shock to all of us—Megan has always been healthy, and she just turned 35 this past November. Since her diagnosis, Megan has bravely endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy, with more treatments ahead, and she will soon face surgery and radiation. These treatments will prevent her from continuing her work as a chef for an uncertain amount of time, all while medical bills continue to grow.

Megan has always followed her dreams, recently starting her own business, Curated, and living life to the fullest—even backpacking across Europe and Asia with a knee scooter in tow! Despite her strength and resilience, the financial burden of cancer is overwhelming. Megan has private insurance, but as a self-employed chef, she only gets paid when she works, and the side effects of treatment have made that impossible at times. The out of pocket costs for her are mounting and it is uncertain when she can return to work full time.

We're raising funds to help cover lost income due to various treatments, foreseeable medical deductibles over the next two years, and related expenses so that Megan can focus on healing.
