Hi, my name is Katelyn and I’m unfortunately writing this on behalf of my sister Megan, and her two young children.

My sister was unexpectedly taken to the emergency room on the evening of Wednesday May 8th and was quickly diagnosed with a large brain tumor called a glioma. The team of doctors and specialists at LVHN have come up with a plan for surgery to remove the tumor, with further chemotherapy and radiation treatment. The recovery will be long but Megan is strong.

This recent turn of events has been very hard for her and her family. I am asking for support to help her transition easefully into this next stage of recovery.

As a single parent, this support will aid her through her recovery while she is unable to work and continue to maintain stability for her family to pay all her medical bills.
