Bucky was a special dog.

He loved hard and you couldn't help but love him back. Having the opportunity to love Bucky was easy because he always wanted to be with his people, which means a lot of us witnessed his shenanigans first hand, whether it was barking at the German Shepherd next door or having him get just a little too close to your leg. (He loved to hump!)

Megan and Eric loved Bucky more than anyone could ever imagine, which is why this is such a devastating loss for them both. Bucky wasn't just a pet, he was family. As many of you know, Bucky's journey ended over the weekend due to a rare complication brought on by heart disease. Megan and Eric did everything they could, but there was nothing more the vet could do. They’re now facing a mountain of vet bills in addition to grieving the loss of their best pal.

Megan and Eric have always been there for me and for so many others. They’re the kind of people who show up when you need them and have definitely rallied around me when I needed support. I want to help take some of this weight off their shoulders and I know our friends and community feel the same. If you’re able to chip in it would mean so much. Thank you for helping two really good people get through a really tough time.
