Support Megan and Ryan's Medical Journey

Hello everyone! My name is Pella and I am setting up this page to help a friend and a coworker with funds to help her and her husband get through this difficult time while he recovers.

I am not only a coworker of Megan’s but I am also her friend. Megan is a hardworking nurse and can’t afford to take the time off to stay home full time right now. Megan is not one to ask for help but with her permission I am asking for help for her and her husband.

On March 29th, 2024 Megan’s husband had a stroke. Thankfully it was caught early by her and he was rushed by ambulance to Detroit Receiving ED where he got proper imaging and a clot busting drug within a 4.5 hour window of onset of symptoms. He was admitted to the neuro ICU there. His neurological deficits were minimal thankfully. During his stay they got hit with other unexpected news. The doctors discovered that he had a hole in between the top two chambers of his heart and in addition to that a mass was discovered on imaging which turned out to be Stage 3A metastastatic testicular cancer. Ryan will be getting a port placed this week and next week he will be starting chemotherapy. Megan and Ryan could use some extra help at this time. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
