Support Megan and Josh's Recovery Journey

Meet Joshua and Megan. Megan is a co-worker of mine. Josh and Megan have known each other for years and they have 3 beautiful kids- Jackson, Morgan and Maggie. They have their family join our company picnics and holiday parties all the time. They are often early to arrive and last ones to leave. But 2023/2024 has not been kind to Megan and Josh. Megan was hospitalized at the end of 2023 with heart arrhythmias and had multiple, life threatening blood clots. She was in the hospital for over 2 months, and could not return to work for over 6 months. This occurred just a few months after Megan lost her dad suddenly, unexpectedly and tragically. Josh supported Megan throughout that time, including taking care of Megan's grandparents, who live with them. Just a month or so after Megan had returned to work, full time. This weekend, I got a frantic text from Megan saying Joshua had had an accident. I was sent a picture of Josh's mangled toes, clearly traumatically damaged from sliding accidentally under a running lawn mower. Josh was lucky to have a neighbor who quickly provided the necessary first aid to save Josh from bleeding out. Parts of toes were recovered, but some required amputation. Now Megan has the additional stress of caring for Josh 's wounds and helping him to recover. while he is unable to work. He has more surgeries planned to optimize the outcome now that he is stable, but this family needs financial support for household expenses over the next couple of month. I've set up this Go Fund Me in hopes of taking some of their burdens away. If you can help with any amount, it will be greatly appreciated!
