Hi, my name is Michelle and I'm here to help my friend with the sudden passing of her husband.

On September 13, 2024, I received a phone call from my longtime friend, Megan Saikley, letting me know she just lost her husband, my dear friend, Jonathan Saikley at the age of 43 due to heart failure, as a result of his congenital heart defect diagnosed at birth.

I have known both of them since high school and for as long as I can remember, Megan and Jon were always together. They dated all through high school and then went their separate ways. They later reconnected and were together up until the day he died. They loved each other so very much. Jon was so excited to get married and have a baby with Megan. I remember he would tell her, even back then, that they would end up getting married and having a baby. In 2009, he got his wish. He and Megan got married and two years later, they found out they were having a baby girl. He was so excited to be a father. Aliveah was the light of his life.

Due to Jon’s condition, he was unable to obtain life insurance. Because of this, Megan is unable to cover all of Jon’s final expenses on her own. Any financial help will be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.

Megan and Aliveah also intend to donate a portion of the proceeds received to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital for their unwavering care and support of Jonathan throughout his battle with heart disease.
