Hi everyone, my name is Kelli and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Megan and her sweet daughter Addy. They are the kind of family who would give anything to help others, and now they are facing a difficult situation that no parent prepares for.

A few days ago, Addy suffered a serious fall at school, resulting in her leg being broken in two places. The injury requires extensive medical care, surgery, follow-up appointments, and constant assistance at home as she begins the long healing process.

Because of this, Megan has to miss at least a month of work so she can be home to care for her daughter. Unfortunately, this leave might not be a paid leave, which means she will have limited income during this time. As a single mom doing everything she can to stay afloat, this unexpected emergency has put her into a very stressful and heartbreaking situation.

My goal in starting this GoFundMe is to give her one less thing to worry about. Any donations will go directly toward:

• Rent and household bills

• Groceries and basic needs

• Medical expenses and transportation to appointments

• Daily living costs while she stays home to care for her daughter

I want to help lighten her load so she can focus on what matters most right now: supporting her daughter’s healing and recovery.
