As many of you already know, our dear friend Meena Chhabra was in a terrible car accident on Friday, May 9th. She flew up to New Jersey to visit family for Mother's Day weekend with her son and his family. She was traveling via Uber when the car hydroplaned and wrecked. She sustained multiple facial fractures and also fractured her left femur right above the knee. She is currently hospitalized in the ICU at a trauma center in New Jersey. On Tuesday, she had surgery to fix her femur and her knee. Wednesday night, they went in and placed plates and screws in her cheeks, realigned her nose, realigned her jawline, and wired it shut. It will remain wired for the next six weeks to heal.

We have decided to start this GoFundMe page to help relieve some financial burden. As you all know, she just lost her husband, Vijay, six months ago. She has been struggling to find a new normal, and now she is faced with this tragedy.
