Support Meena Through This Difficult Time

We are setting up this GoFundMe in honor of Meena Azizi, who tragically lost her wonderful husband, Abdullah, last week. Abdullah was a kind and gentle soul and will be deeply missed by all. He leaves behind Meena and their three young boys (4, 8, and 11). We are hoping to help ease the burden of this terrible time for them.

A little about Meena: Prior to moving to the U.S., Meena was a math teacher in her home country and has always had a love of teaching and deep passion for child development. For many years now, Meena has run a small in-home daycare for a handful of kids. Meena loves the kids in her daycare like they are her own. She has helped raise many kids over the years and is so loving, warm, and always helping us new parents feel more comfortable figuring out our parenting journeys. We are heartbroken for her loss and can’t imagine the pain she is navigating while trying to be strong for her own kids and needing to support her family on her own now.

We are so thankful for any contribution on behalf of Meena, and while she never would ask for this, we (the parents of the kids in Meena's daycare) wanted to do something to help her during this time.
