At MedLead Convert, our success is built on the dedication of our staff—including our talented team in the Philippines. Recently, a powerful typhoon struck their communities, causing severe damage to homes, infrastructure, and daily life. Thirteen of our colleagues are now facing urgent challenges: repairing or rebuilding homes, replacing lost belongings, securing safe shelter for their families, and covering unplanned expenses for medical care, food, and utilities. Despite these hardships, our team continues to show up for work, demonstrating remarkable resilience and commitment.
We want to highlight a few of their stories. Rosequeen needs help replacing roofing that was blown away by the storm. Neirjae, whose motorcycle was damaged by flooding, relies on it for transportation and has had to take out a calamity loan to address home repairs. Armcel’s fridge was ruined by floodwaters, while Mylene and Mel are seeking help with payments for a generator that’s essential for their household. Aizah purchased a solar power station to keep her family safe, and is hoping for support with the cost. These are just a few examples of the real, immediate needs our team is facing.
To ensure your donation makes a direct impact, our local managers Robyn and Nicole will distribute funds by paying bills, supplying food, and coordinating repairs for affected staff. We are committed to full transparency and will share updates with photos and words of appreciation from our team as they recover and rebuild. Your support will help our colleagues return to stability and continue contributing to our shared success. Thank you for standing with us during this critical time.
