PPE for Medical Workers in Saigon
We are saddened by the somber news from Saigon where millions are under lockdown; many of them are suffering from Covid. Hospitals have stopped accepting new Covid patients. Doctors and nurses are working around the clock to save lives without proper PPE.
We are also grateful for the dedicated medical professionals. We have teamed up with Y Học Cộng Đồng, a network of Vietnamese doctors around the world. YHCĐ_SaiGon Tri Thương (Community Health organization_Healing SaiGon campaign team.)
The team has created a database that links the healthcare workers' needs at all COVID hospitals with the volunteers and anyone who can contribute.
We need your help to get more PPE to the healthcare workers in Saigon. All proceeds will be directed to help Community Health organization_Healing SaiGon campaign team. Thank you!

Within one week, these below items were sent to the most needed places:
- 11800 of N95 Masks and FFP2,
- 2300 PPE Level 3 and 4 (protective clothing, helmets, gloves, goggles, face shields, facemasks)
- 800 face shields
- 500 non-rebreather masks
- 255 SpO2 oximeters
- 03 HFNC

How the team works:
1/ Collect all urgent requests for help from the makeshift hospitals - recorded database a Request List.
2/ Raise funds, collect quality technical information, collect purchasing sources, balance prices
3/ Receive review from the hospitals/experts about whether the supplies are up to standard or not
4/ Buy and send items to places recorded in the Request List.
