Hello!
We are UF GMMA (Global Medical Missions Alliance here at the University of Florida. We humbly ask for contributions toward our mission trip to Piedras Negras, Mexico, Dec 13-20 this year, to serve the community there with God's love through healthcare and evangelism.
GMMA is a Christ-centered non-profit organization aimed to bring God's healing and grace throughout the world, both locally and globally. We've had the privilege of serving Him here on our college campus by partnering with orgs such as Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Giving Garden, Grace Marketplace, Bread of the Mighty Food Bank, etc. It has been a blessing to serve humbly and devotedly toward His kingdom, and we are hopeful to continue this mission beyond our borders.
GMMA supports ministries worldwide, including Mexico, Cambodia, the Philippines, Honduras, and more. The organization also offers college students, especially those in the medical field, a unique opportunity to go and provide medical care to local communities in these countries. Working alongside experienced healthcare professionals, students help deliver medical services, pray for the people they encounter, and share the Gospel, which is the ultimate life-giver.
Our goal is to raise $3000. All the money will be split among our team of 13 members to cover the cost of airfare, housing, food, and supplies. Any amount will help our members be less financially burdened in doing God's will. If all team members are fully funded, additional donations will be donated to the local ministries we partner with in Piedras Negras, Mexico.
Thank you so much.
Blessings,
UF GMMA Mexico ’25 Team
Testimony from one of our members:
I had the opportunity to go on a mission trip with GMMA to Honduras last year. It was an unforgettable experience that transformed my relationship with God. I was filled with love and joy for the people in Honduras. To see smiles and tears of joy on their faces when we laughed, danced, and prayed with them was so special. God was on the move in that trip, and His glory was on display.
"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
-Romans 10:14-15
