There are moments in life that break your heart—and then there are moments when you choose to help put the pieces back together. Right now, I’m caring for three abandoned dogs who have each experienced their own kind of loss.
Pickles is impossible not to smile at. Because of a previous hip surgery, Pickles has the funniest little walk—but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. Full of love, playfulness, and pure happiness, Pickles greets every day (and every person) with joy. Despite everything she has been through, her spirit is bright and full of life.
Honey lives up to her name in the sweetest way. She is calm, quiet, and incredibly observant—taking in the world gently from the sidelines. There’s something so special about her peaceful presence. You can tell she’s been through a lot, but she carries herself with a soft strength and just wants a safe place to belong.
Thumper is happy, energetic, and always ready to play. Thumper brings life and laughter into every room. Even after being abandoned, his joyful personality hasn’t faded—he reminds me every day how resilient and loving these dogs are.
While they are safe, loved, and cared for, they really need medical support. All three dogs require updated vaccinations to protect them from serious illnesses, as well as dental cleanings to prevent long-term health problems. These are not just routine procedures—they are essential to giving them a healthy future. The reality is that veterinary care for three dogs at once is overwhelming financially. I am fully committed to them and giving them the life they deserve, but I can’t do it alone. These dogs didn’t deserve to be abandoned—but together, we can show them that they are not forgotten.
