Medal of Honor, LLC, founded by First Sergeant Curtiss Miles in Montgomery, Alabama, is a mission-driven organization dedicated to addressing the crisis of veteran homelessness in the Montgomery area. In partnership with local community organizations and the Montgomery VA office, the company assists veterans in obtaining or redeeming VA housing vouchers. Medal of Honor, LLC operates alongside its nonprofit arm, We Served with Pride, which focuses on helping veterans who have not yet secured VA housing support.

The objective of this fundraising initiative is to secure financial support for the acquisition of a building dedicated to providing shelter for veterans. The process has been prolonged due to complications with a partner company, which recently notified us that the deal cannot be completed at this late stage. We have incurred significant expenses related to fees and have exhausted numerous loan options to obtain this property.

Our mission is to create a safe haven for our soldiers, ensuring they have a place to rest instead of being left in despair, feeling abandoned after their sacrifices for our country. It is imperative that we, as a nation, unite to facilitate the acquisition of this building, thereby providing our veterans with a place to call home.
