Peace everyone! My name is Mecca & I am a model, dancer, and someone that is extremely interested and always looking at ways to heal the body, identify problems and just walk in the world feeling good. I am reaching out to the community to fulfill costs for two programs that I have been accepted to. I understand the current climate and state of the world so even just sharing this is helpful.

What are the programs?

Movement Science and Pilates:

This program is in New York & consists of 5 students total & will help further my knowledge in anatomy, kinesiology, movement science and biomechanics. Having danced for many years I’ve always had a passion for understanding the body and healing all body types, ages and walks of life. I have started the program and am currently on a payment plan for it. Once finished I will be fully certified in the Pilates method. Money will go directly to tuition costs.

Agriculture & Herbal medicine:

This program takes place June 4th & here I will learn about urban farming, issues of food apartheid, solutions to current food shortages and will also be introduced to herbal medicine. This will all be from an Afro-Caribbean- centered perspective of farmers, activists, healers, and educators. For this, the money will go towards tuition and flight costs (I can share more details via email if you'd like to follow my journey).

The Why ?

Both programs will help further my studies in movement science and plant medicine. Working from the inside of the body to the outside. This is where my true passion lies and I feel I am stepping into my true form. Sharing this type of information with others is the ultimate goal.
