Since Manhattan Early College School for Advertising opened in 2014, we have helped over 1,000 students to receive training in 21st century workforce skills such as marketing, advertising and branding. Every year, our freshmen and sophomores participate in an annual advertising campaign competition. Working in teams, students create and pitch an original campaign to judges from the industry. The first round of the competition is the Elimination Round, held within each class. The Elimination Round winning teams will move on to the Final Round where they compete for gift card prizes.
This year, we are excited to launch the 4 Freedoms Campaign, a social justice initiative that celebrates and uplifts the values of freedom of speech, freedom from want, freedom from fear and the freedom to worship. This campaign is inspired by President Franklin Roosevelt’s 1941 State of the Union address, known as the "Four Freedoms speech," which outlined a vision for a postwar world based on four essential human freedoms. Through this campaign, student teams will choose the freedom they are most connected to and design an original creative campaign to promote this freedom while celebrating a not-for-profit organization whose mission aligns with this freedom.
To encourage participation and recognize outstanding contributions, we are offering gift card prizes to the teams who create the top three winning campaigns. Your donation will go directly toward these awards, helping us inspire more voices, reward meaningful expression, and create a positive impact in our community. Every contribution—big or small—makes a difference. By donating to this fundraiser, you’re not just funding prizes; you’re investing in inspiring underserved youth to learn how to express their values and concerns by building the creative and marketing skills they need to master to have success in their lives. Thank you for your generosity and support! Together, we can make this campaign successful and meaningful for everyone involved.
