Support Meaty's Road to Recovery

I’m setting this up to help out my wonderful friends Carl and Perry because they’d never ask for help themselves. If you know them, you love them.

Their 9 year old cat Meaty became noticeably sick about a week ago and has been losing a ton of weight, after a Vet visit it was suggested she’d be admitted to the ER immediately, where she will be until she is in stable condition and her liver is healthy again. Thankfully Cancer has been ruled out!! She will need further treatment when she comes back home and will be fed through a feeding tube, as well as needed future vet visits. If we can alleviate the stress of this immense financial burden, as that’s the last thing they should worry about while Meaty recovers from this very scary time. Please consider donating and sharing. UPDATE!

Meaty was released from the ER yesterday and is doing much better! Still a little weak and recovering, but home with her family. She’s on 3 different medications and will be fed through a feeding tube for the next few weeks or months, depending on her desire to eat on her own. She will be going to back to the ER in a few days for a whole new set of bloodwork tests and to make sure her liver is doing better. As predicted, their bills have passed the set goal already and this isn’t over.
