Help Meara Maxine Overcome GSD Challenges

Donation for Meara
This is Meara Maxine. She is my great-niece, daughter of Stephanie & Tyler Varnadore. She was rushed to the Children's Minnesota Hospital on March 12, after having her 9-month check-up. She had lost weight, which spurred an immediate blood work-up. We have now learned that Meara has a rare genetic metabolic disorder called Glycogen Storage Disease Type 1 (GSD), which means her body cannot use or store glycogen properly.
With GSD, Meara has had a G-tube (Gastrostomy Tube) surgically placed into her stomach. This G-tube is used to deliver nutrition, fluids, and medication. She has already undergone multiple surgeries and blood transfusions, as well as complications with blood clots and infections, during this time at CMH.
Meara has a long road ahead. Her recovery will include more time in the ICU and many, many trips from her home in MI to the CMH in MN. Stephanie & Tyler are overwhelmed with all that is happening to their precious daughter. Although they are positive, kind, and hardworking, this is pulling at their core.
If you can help this young family, whether it be a financial donation or a prayer, my entire family and I would be forever grateful.
Thank you for your consideration.
