Hi there! My name is Felisha Murray and I am currently putting together this account for my big sister, Meaghan Cross. At 35 years old, she is currently facing an unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer. As we have started with the initial process of figuring out treatment options and next steps, we are frequently reminded of how impactful this journey will be for her physically, emotionally and of course, financially. With this unexpected diagnosis, Meaghan is face to face with some life altering decisions. Although she has always been known as the “fun” aunt and trust me, if you asked any of her nieces or nephews, they’d happily agree, she has always aspired to have children of her own. With the current treatment plan, that desire will be more much complicated to achieve naturally. With her limited insurance coverage, lack of long term disability and no coverage for fertility care, she is faced with challenging decisions- but we don’t believe that she should have to close that chapter because of cost.

I come to this community looking for support for my sister, Meaghan. She has one of the kindest hearts you’ll ever meet- always laughing, playful- she simply radiates joy. I want to see people rally behind this woman to help her see the love people have for one another, for strangers and that in times of need, there is goodness everywhere you turn.
