My name is Meaghan Fleming, and I am proud to be running for the Valley Stream District 24 Board of Education. As a lifelong member of this community, a mother of two children in District 24 schools, a Mental Health Counselor, current Valley Stream SEPTA President, Nassau Region PTA Board Member, and former PTA Unit President, Secretary, and Vice President, I have dedicated years to supporting students, families, and our schools.

Through my work in PTA leadership and mental health, I have built strong relationships throughout the district and gained firsthand understanding of the needs of our students, parents, teachers, and staff. I believe every child deserves a safe, supportive, inclusive, and high-quality educational experience where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

This campaign is about strengthening communication, increasing community involvement, supporting all learners, promoting transparency, and ensuring responsible decision-making for the future of District 24. I am committed to listening to our community and working collaboratively to help our schools continue to grow and succeed.

Campaigns require resources for flyers, lawn signs, mailers, outreach events, and voter engagement efforts. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us reach more families and continue building a positive campaign focused on our children and community.
