We’re creating this GoFundMe to help support Meagan and her kids through a very rough season. If you know Meagan, you know her little family has faced a really hard year with her and her son being hospitalized multiple times. Most recently, Meagan was working as a charge nurse when she began having difficulty breathing. The other nurses convinced Meagan to check in for what we thought would be one breathing treatment and an x-ray, and then home with antibiotics. As we started to work up Meagan, she quickly deteriorated and required BiPAP to help her work of breathing. Meagan wasn’t able to tolerate this and ended up being intubated. The plan has been for a 24-hour intubation period. This morning, they began the process of weaning her sedation to try to extubate. Meagan is facing a large hospital bill and will likely miss a good amount of time from work. Help us support Meagan through this difficult time and ease the financial burdens.
