Many of you know Meagan Tompkins, but for those of you who don’t, let me share a little bit about her. She’s been my best friend since we were babies so that’s 35+ years and counting. She has two beautiful children… a little boy who is 5 and a little girl who is 3. She’s such a positive spirit and has the most amazing smile; however, life has recently tried to dim that smile as she was diagnosed with myeloid sarcoma which is a type of leukemia. She recently spent 50 straight days at Cleveland Clinic undergoing treatment and while her journey is far from over, her attitude has been truly incredible throughout it all. She’s heading back to Cleveland for another round of treatments after getting to spend some much needed time with her babies and regaining some of her strength, and with the help of our incredibly supportive community, I want to help take some worry away from her by raising money to help her in any way we can. Funds raised for Meagan will go toward hospital bills not covered by insurance, as well as care for her two children. Any little bit helps and even if you’re not able to donate, continued prayers are still greatly appreciated. Thank you all for supporting my Meg! <3

UPDATE Nov 27, 2024:

Last week, Meg received the most incredible news! PET scan results revealed that her tumor is GONE and there are currently no active cancer cells in her body. She completed another round of chemo over the course of 6 days and is heading back home today, just in time to be with her family for Thanksgiving! Talk about being THANKFUL!!

Meg is also eligible for a bone marrow transplant which she is thinking will happen around the beginning of January, giving hope for her once terminal cancer to be considered CURED!!
