Donation protected
On September 12th, after dealing with what she thought were the symptoms of bronchitis for several weeks, Meagan was diagnosed with a mass in her chest, later identified as a non-hodgkins lymphoma. A lymph node biopsy to identify her diagnosis resulted in the mass restricting her airway, which required immediate intervention. Meagan would go on to spend 6 days in ICU in a medically induced coma. By the grace of God, during these critical days in ICU, she was able to undergo radiation, and by day 6 the tumor had shrunk enough that she was able to breath again on her own.
Waking up to a new diagnosis and an immediate treatment plan to begin chemotherapy would be overwhelming to anyone, but Meagan has already faced it with courage and strength. She spent a total of 16 days in the hospital, and will continue in hospital chemotherapy treatments for at least the next 6 months.
Meagan is supported by her husband Corey, their families, and so many wonderful friends. The love and support shared via gifts, meals, and most importantly - all the countless prayers have been so appreciated over the last few weeks.
Meagan and Corey will continue to need our support as they face the coming months. The hospital stays, treatments, and time off of work, will be a significant financial burden for them. If you feel inclined to support them with a financial donation, they would so appreciate it. Let's help take one less burden off of their mind.
A cancer diagnosis is something you hope you never have to face in your family, but God has shown us that he is carrying Meagan through this difficult time, and we know that her story is unfolding to honor him.
Thank you for your love, your support, and your prayers!
