A Family Facing the Unimaginable - Let’s Rally Around Meagan and Chris
Friends, I’m reaching out on behalf of a dear friend, Meagan - a devoted mom, wife, and nurse - who is walking through the unimaginable right now.
Meagan’s husband, Chris, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia last year after a trip to urgent care turned into an emergency cancer diagnosis. Since then, he’s endured nearly a year of grueling treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and, just this month, a bone marrow transplant flown in from Europe. His recovery will require at least five more weeks in the hospital and months of isolation at home.
As if that wasn’t enough, Meagan herself was recently diagnosed with Stage III cervical cancer. While caring for her husband, she began facing her own exhausting treatment journey of chemotherapy, external and internal radiation, and now ongoing immunotherapy.
Two parents. Two cancer battles. Two children facing the imaginable.
It’s hard to imagine, but somehow, they continue to move forward with courage and grace.
They are clinging to hope, relying on faith, and showing a strength few could ever fathom.
Their needs are many right now, but what would help the most is financial support for:
• Gas and travel expenses for frequent, 2-hour round trips to treatment
• Medical costs
• Household needs as they both recover and navigate limited work capacity
• Peace of mind knowing their community is holding them up
While we initially hoped to create a meal train, their complex schedules and strict immune precautions have made that challenging. Your financial support is the most helpful gift right now.
You can give directly to Meagan through Venmo (preferred so she receives 100% of your gift):

Or you can donate through the GoFundMe here.
Please consider giving, sharing, and most of all praying for this beautiful family. Their story is one of heartbreak, but also one of unshakable love and perseverance. Let’s show them they’re not alone in this.
