Hi my name is Fa-Zah! I live in London and am planning a journey to take part in the Global March To Gaza

I was moved to join the Global March To Gaza because I was feeling incredibly disheartened by the continuing and escalating issue in Gaza during the genocide and the country I live in’s complicity in this. This incredibly powerful protest was a strong calling for me and I hope to take part in it however I am not financially able to do this but am determined to take part. I will be leaving on the 12th of June and my journey will begin in Cario and will lead me with a group of more than 2500 people on a two day peaceful march from Al-Arish to the Rafah border to protest to demand entry for humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza that will happen over two days.

I have calculated the following expenses:

Visa: £25

Flight: £391.11

Insurance: £62.50

Work missed: £480

Transportation to Al-Arish from Rafah: £85

Food and water: £100

Hiking shoes: £45.48

Contingency: £200
