Hi everyone,

My name is Charlie Chandler, I’m 23 years old, and figure skating is a huge passion of mine. I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to compete in Cejie, Slovenia, a dream I’ve been working toward for years: to compete internationally in ice skating.

However, as many of you know, competing is very expensive. Between travel, accommodations, training costs, and competition fees, the financial burden is overwhelming. On top of that, I’ve faced challenges outside of skating including periods of homelessness and struggles with my mental health. Through it all, skating has been my light and my motivation to keep pushing forward.

This competition means so much to me, not just as an athlete but as someone who has fought hard to overcome obstacles. With your support, I’ll be able to step onto the ice and represent with pride, knowing I had the support of you all behind me.
