My name is Dr. Osama Jarada, and I am sharing the story of my mother, Ansam, who is still trapped in Gaza.
 I am her only son, and today she is left alone,  iinjured, homeless, and without the basic necessities of life.

 Our family has been shattered by this war. My father, Numan, was badly injured when random shelling struck near our home and partially destroyed it.

My eldest sister, Dina, was killed together with her unborn son when her flat—our last shelter—was bombed. In that same attack, my mother was buried under rubble. She survived, but with painful injuries to her leg and face.

 Other members of my family have also lost everything:
 • My siblings Haya and Khaled survived the complete destruction of their home, losing nearly all their belongings.
 • Shurouq and Bashar endured partial destruction of their flat near our family home. Now, my mother has no home, no safe shelter, no food, no clean water, no security, and no belongings left.

The daily reality in Gaza is unbearable—constant bombardment, destruction everywhere, and the collapse of community support systems that once held people together. She is exhausted, traumatized, and utterly alone.

 Every day, she faces the same dangers that already killed my sister and her unborn child, and the same conditions that left my father permanently injured.

There is no functioning authority to protect her, and no way for her to rebuild her life amid this devastation.
