Help Raghad, a Future Doctor from Gaza, Save Her Medical Career
My name is Raghad Adel, I am 18 years old, and I have a dream that refused to die even under the darkest skies.
I have always known that my calling was to heal others. In 2025, I graduated from high school with a GPA of 92.4% in the scientific stream
—a result of years of sleepless nights and hard work. By December 2025, I finally started my journey as a first-year medical student. I was finally holding my medical books, learning about the human body, and preparing to serve my community.
But then, everything changed.
The war didn't just take our safety; it threatened to take my future. My university sessions were interrupted, my books were buried under dust, and the simple act of learning became a struggle for survival. Yet, I haven't stopped. I’ve been trying to keep up with my studies using whatever resources I have, but the reality is clear: to become the doctor my people need, I must complete my education abroad.
The Urgent Obstacle:
To reach safety in Egypt and continue my medical studies, I am faced with a staggering $9,000 coordination fee. For a family of six—I am the eldest of five siblings—this amount is impossible. It is a wall standing between me and my white coat.
Why now?
The new academic year begins this September. I am in a race against time. I need to leave Gaza as soon as possible to:
Find safe student housing in a new country.
Organize my university transfers and documents.
Regain my mental and physical health to be ready for the rigors of medical school.
I am not just asking for a donation; I am asking for an investment in a future life-saver. Every dollar you donate brings me one step closer to the hospital wards and away from the sounds of destruction. Every share of this link tells me that the world believes that a Palestinian girl’s education matters.
Please, help me reach September in a classroom, not a tent. Help me save my dream so that one day, I can save others.
With hope and determination,
Raghad Adel
