Dear friends and family,
I have often admired the courage of those who ask for the help they need financially using GoFundMe, but could never imagine doing it myself - until now.
My name is Amy; I’m a mother of two teens. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2022 at the age of 44.
There's no way around the fact that cancer treatment is expensive - and my Stage 2 cancer requires the full arsenal to treat: chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and hormone therapy. I managed to continue working full-time through my first round of chemo, but have since needed to take a medical leave of absence as my treatment has ramped up and the cumulative effects have taken their toll. This means bills are mounting, at a time when income is very limited and my most important “job” is to rest and recover.
With the belief that we belong to one another and trust that there is a wide safety net ready to catch me in my time of need, I am finally joining those who have gone before me in taking the leap of faith to ask for financial help.
Any donation you can make to help our family cover medical expenses is deeply appreciated!
If you are not able to make a monetary contribution, I would be so grateful if you would share this with others, pray, send good vibes, offer well wishes, or pass on positive energy. I will take all the hopeful goodness I can get!
Please join me in knowing: I WILL get well.
❤ With much love and gratitude,
Amy
