Support me getting to the Czech republic for euros

So this year i decided it was time to take my passion for Dragon boating a step further.

Around 2.5 years ago i first stepped onto a dragon boat , immediately i loved it, since then i have trained with my team twice a week(when weather permits) if not more to be the best i can be. Back in October 2023 i decided it was time to take it one step further and attend the BNTS (british national traing sessions) to eventually achieve a place in the Great BritIan senior A squad. This April i had a call to say i had made it in to team. The feeling of achieving this is indescribable. I may have smiled a few times that day.

Who would have thought this over weight women 9 years ago could now be a GB athlete!

I have so many people to thank for my journey, Anna my first SW consultant, Chris and Emily for getting me in the boat in the first place(and now my gb buddies) all of Smyth fitness #5.47, The Mike Bushall and my ever awesome bench buddy Ella and all at soaring dragons . My mum who has stuck with me through it all.❣️

Now its time to show them and me how strong and how how hard i can work.

Unlike many sports, dragon boat racing is not funded. This leaves the sole responsibility of funding on the athletes who represent their country. I am seeking your kind support in the form of funding towards helping me to full fill my dream of competing as a GB athlete at the European Championship in Czech in July 2024. Funding will go towards training days in the lead up to the competition itself, purchasing training kit, transport, nutrition and accommodation. Any small contribution towards these costs is greatly appreciated and valued.
