Support me getting to the 2024 IPF worlds in Malta

Hi all,

I'm Hayden Brinkley, 18 year old powerlifter from Brisbane who recently qualified for the IPF Sub junior World Championships, as a result of placing 1st place at the recent APA nationals series. I'm a dedicated, drug-tested athlete and am now on the doorstep of the biggest opportunity of my life.

I've been powerlifting since I was 15, and ever since getting into this sport I've always dreamed of being able to represent Australia on the world stage.

And, now I have that chance! As exciting as it is, it also comes at a significant cost, especially for a young athlete such as myself.

After graduating high school late last year, I've spent the last couple months balancing my time between working an internship, training, recovering, and educating myself for future roles within my current position.

I live and fund my life very independently, as I have for the past couple years, which has made saving money increasingly difficult due to the ever growing cost of living, and simply becoming more financially responsible as a young adult.

Between flights, accomodation, fees, passports, food and more, this trip is looking to be north of $8,000 across the 2-3 week duration of the trip for the competition.

I'm now opening my arms for support from the powerlifting community and abroad, to help me get on the world stage. I simply do not currently have the savings to soley fund this trip, and I do not have immediate access to helping hands around me.

100% of proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards funding the expenses of this trip. I'd be overwhelmingly grateful for any amount of support from anyone, big or small.
