Update -- Thank you so much for your generous donations. My dad and I created this GoFundMe while he was still with us and every time one of you donated his eyes got huge in awe. When we (quickly!) surpassed $1000 he was so excited and awestruck, it was really nice to see that spark.

McSweeney’s is an independent nonprofit publishing company based in San Francisco. Each issue boasts immense creativity, humor, cleverness, and surprise (qualities that are also shared with Jon).

In my opinion, McSweeney's is one of the coolest publications out there. It's become a shared joy to see how creative they get with each issue.
