Support McSolar's Journey to KidWind Worlds!

Hey everyone! We are McSolar, McLean High School’s very first KidWind solar smart home challenge team. This is our first year competing in the Virginia division where we successfully made it to states. Despite setbacks (including electrical burns and late-night debugging sessions on Arduino forums!) we ranked second at our state competition, earning us a spot at the KidWind World Competition in Phoenix, Arizona. Additionally, our coach Cara Mosley was deemed the first ever rookie coach of the year. However we are unable to afford our trip to Phoenix. So, we are now reaching out to our local community, friends, families, and internet to support our journey!
