***Update*** After receiving the transplant, Elizabeth had to endure an emergency surgery to save her life. There was an unexpected rupture in her renal vein causing her to bleed out internally. Luckily the doctor's worked fast to save her life, however they were not able to save the kidney. She now has a long recovery ahead of her to get back on the list to try again for another transplant. There are no words to describe how grateful we are for the love, support, and monetary donations we have received. We’re reaching out with full hearts and hope on behalf of our incredible mom, who is about to undergo a life-saving kidney transplant. She’s the strongest woman we know — the loving mom of 6 children — and now she needs our strength and support more than ever.

This transplant is a second chance at life for her, but as many of you know, the road to recovery is long and comes with many challenges — physically, emotionally, and financially.
