My name is Lib. My son, McKial, was recently the victim of a violent crime. He was on his way home from work, and this man cut him off. My son honked at him. This man then slowed down, got behind him, and opened fire with a handgun. He shot from the back of the car, continued to the side, and the front. McKial got shot 5 times. By the grace of God, the only major organs he hit were his lungs. He had 2 chest tubes, but they have recently taken 1 out. One of the bullets broke his dominant arm and also hit him in his hip. It is going to be very difficult for him to do any work, and the vehicle he used to go to and from work is totaled. All my son was trying to do was come home, and he didn't make it. This result of road rage is unfathomable. Anyone could have been a victim, but it ended up being my son. He is in good spirits and has a lot of emotional support from family and friends. I am asking for funds to help get him a new vehicle and supplement his loss of wages while he recovers. I appreciate any help we receive.
