McKenzie has struggled with mental health issues for years, and our family has faced many difficult moments as she has made multiple attempts to end her life. This most recent attempt was nearly fatal, and it happened because she was not able to access the residential treatment she needed. Now, McKenzie is in the hospital, and our family is doing everything we can to support her through this incredibly difficult time. Once she is released, she will need residential treatment to continue her recovery, which comes with significant costs that are beyond what we can manage alone. My sister, McKenzie's mom, is a single parent and the only source of income for their household. Missing work to be with McKenzie and traveling three hours each way to visit her in the hospital has put a real strain on her ability to keep up with everyday expenses.

The funds raised will go directly toward McKenzie's hospital bills, the cost of residential treatment, therapy, and the travel expenses required for our family to be by her side.
