Support McKenna's Recovery After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On Sunday, July 7th, McKenna Davis was involved in a horrific car accident, along with four of her family members. A semi-truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with their vehicle. The collision was catastrophic for McKenna, her mother Candice, and her grandfather Mark. Tragically, McKenna's grandmother Emilita and great aunt Elvie lost their lives in the crash. Adding to the heartbreak, all three of McKenna's beloved dogs, Teddy, Bella, and Lola, also perished in the accident.
McKenna and three of her family members were medi-flighted to hospitals in Amarillo. McKenna sustained severe injuries, including four broken ribs, a broken orbital bone and contusions to her left eye, broken bones in her left hand, a dislocated right shoulder and arm, lacerations on her liver, and pulmonary contusions to both lungs. McKenna is currently unable to use either of her hands due to the injuries. Despite the physical pain, the emotional toll of losing her family members and pets is unimaginable.
McKenna is a full-time college student in Oregon and was recently accepted to the University of Oklahoma. Her family was in the process of moving her belongings back to Oklahoma when the accident occurred.
We are raising funds to support McKenna and her family during this incredibly challenging time. The funds will go towards medical expenses and help with her relocation and ongoing living expenses as she recovers and continues her education.
McKenna has shown incredible strength and resilience in the face of this tragedy, and any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in her journey towards healing and rebuilding her life.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
