This is Mazie. Michelle my mother-in-law found her several weeks ago tied to a post on a busy road in downtown Rockford. Her back story is long but in summary she lived life on the streets with someone who we believe could no longer care for her. She is between 7-10 years of age and the sweetest little pug you could ever meet. After attempts to try and find her owner led to dead ends Michelle’s family has adopted her. For the past two weeks she has been treated for a UTI and recently has found herself in more discomfort after a vet visit they have found she needs surgery for stones in her bladder (likely caused from the street garbage she’s ate over the years) this surgery is $1200 and needs to happen asap so the stones don’t turn into a blockage that could be life ending for this sweet girl. She will forever be on a prescription specific only food. With the immediate need for surgery it’s just not something the family can come up with right away so we are asking for donations to save this little girls life.
