Support Mayu Unda Education at the World Class Academy

Hello there! My name is Mayu Unda and I need your help.

I am 16 years old and I’m from Cusco-Peru, and I want to pursue further in my education. I am a Junior very tenacious student, hard working person and dedicated. I have the great opportunity to attend the World Class Academy on their Mountain Biking Program, a school with only 20 students from all over the world, the school has academics as the main focus but also explores the mountain biking field. I will travel to 4 different locations around the world where I will learn from the best, visiting new places and build a wider view of the world. I am taking the SAT Prep program which will put me in advantage for when my test date comes up so my score will be higher and my acceptance rate to the best universities in the world increases.

In this great experience during the free time I will also have the chance to practice the sport I love in some of the greatest places for mountain biking in the world.

Last year during training for the South American Championships of Downhill I had a serious injury which changed my life. I realized that bikes aren’t forever. This showed me that prioritizing my education is the way to success. This event that lasted more than 6 months without walking and almost a year without biking has motivated me to focus more on my education and continue the bike racing as a hobby.

I am doing a fundraising to cover some of the expenses of this great opportunity, these are:

The highlight is the opportunity to enhance my academics so I can apply to the best schools in the world. An example of this is the Nsouli Org. Schools in Switzerland, a series of the best schools of Europe where I want to finish high school in the greatest way possible, doing the IB Program and graduating in one of the best high schools in the world.

My pursuit for upcoming years is College, a higher education in the Finance-Economics field. I aim to learn from the best, do the best and trace my path for success. I plan to study this higher education in the USA.

I am constantly working and studying to increase my acceptance rate in the best colleges in the States, aiming to study Finance as an undergraduate and Economics as a graduate in an IVY League University.
