My name is Mayra Santamaria. I'm a mother of 3 beautiful children - Diana, Anthony, and Adriel - and the wife of Hugo Santamaria, whom most of our friends and family know as Paisa. Like many others, my mom and dad decided to come to California for the American dream. Although my parents are no longer together, with lots of hard work, my mom was able to support me and my brother Moises and pay for her home in Altadena.

Like many other families in Altadena, we also lost my childhood home, where I had lived for more than 35 years and where all of my kids had had their childhood home, taken away by the Eaton Canyon fire. Many people who know me know that it's really hard for me to ask for help, but we ask for any donations in these desperate times and your contributions will help us through this chalenging times.
