My name is Patricia Brown, and I am the mother of Mayor William Brown. I am reaching out to the City of Willis, along with our friends and family, to ask for your love, your prayers, and your support during a difficult time for my son.
On Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, Mayor Brown was seriously injured in a collision that left him with multiple fractures and a long road to recovery. He suffered a broken ankle, wrist, and hip, along with fractured ribs and a deep head laceration, all requiring immediate surgery. He remains hospitalized and will face several months of intensive physical therapy to rebuild his strength and mobility. Due to the severity of his condition, Mayor Brown is unable to work, and the financial strain from mounting medical costs and everyday expenses is already becoming a heavy burden.
Mayor Brown is working tirelessly to make Willis a place where safety is not a privilege but a promise. A place where families can grow, where children can play without fear, and where every resident can stand tall and feel proud to call this city home. His vision is rooted in unity, progress, and compassion, and he has never stopped pushing for a better future for the people he serves.
He is devoted to his church community and serves faithfully as an elder. No matter the role he holds, whether it is serving the church, leading as mayor, or building his small business, he gives every bit of himself. He always goes above and beyond, not for praise, but because his heart leads him to care for people in a deep and honest way.
Now he is facing a season where he needs us to hold him up. We want to help lift that weight from his shoulders. This fundraiser is our way of letting him know that he is not walking this journey alone. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ease the financial burden and allows him to focus on healing fully and peacefully.
If my son has ever touched your life with a kind word, a helping hand, or simply by being the steady presence he is, I invite you to give what you can and share this page with others who care. Let’s come together as a community and walk with him on this road to recovery. Let’s remind him that his love has never gone unnoticed.
Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your support.
