Meet Maylin – Founder of the Warm Whiskers Project

At just 11 years old, Maylin has turned her love and compassion for animals into real action. After noticing a growing number of feral cats living in the woods near her home, she decided to make a difference — and the Warm Whiskers Project was born.

Maylin’s goal is simple but powerful: to humanely trap, spay, and neuter the local feral cats to help end the cycle of overpopulation. She also hopes to build warm, weather-safe shelters so the adult cats can stay comfortable and protected through the cold winter months.

This past summer, Maylin bottle-fed and raised several abandoned feral kittens herself — finding each of them loving forever homes. While the adult cats remain wild, Maylin continues to feed them every morning and evening, often using her own allowance to make sure they never go hungry.

Maylin understands that the key to helping these cats long-term is prevention. Every donation, no matter the size, brings her one step closer to giving these animals a safer, healthier life — and showing what a big difference one small heart can make. ❤️
