On August 7, 2024 we lost the matriarch of our family. She was the most remarkable, caring, truly independent and awesome grandmother, sister, mother all around great friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and native community. Maybelle or “Bah” (as her grandkids called her) was born in Beclabito, New Mexico and passed at the age of 94 due to a long battle with dementia. We are raising funds to provide support for our family to have a proper memorial here for our loved one. We also plan on taking Bah back to her homeland in New Mexico. Anyone who has ever crossed paths with Maybelle knew she was one of the friendliest, genuine, and loving person to be around. She lived and loved traveling to Pow wows/events around Southern California. She was truly extraordinary and the core to our family. Although no amount of money will ever compensate for her loss we are raising these funds to help cover outstanding funeral and travel expenses. We are extremely grateful for any support and thank you for thinking of our family during this difficult time.
